i'm in a wierd space. i have not been avoiding God, but haven't been talking to Him very much lately, either. what's that about? i want to stay connected, but am also having a rough go of it because i feel like i am without aim and simply wandering, waiting until it feels right for me to go to Confession and get back to Mass.

ever since i was at OLOS, it has had me thinking about how i felt very close to being ready to find my way back to the Faith. reminded me of how much time i used to spend there...
i have been feeling a bit of disconnect from God lately. i am not avoiding Him, i am just not seeking Him out. i am almost afraid to. He must grow weary from me. (not judging myself, just sayin'.)
well, i'm near the end, and just ain't got the time.
and i'm wasted and i can't find my way home.....

Penni, He'll never grow tired of you. My guess is that He's calling you now. You just have to get to a quiet place and listen...
I wonder, if perhaps we take ourselves too seriously, and that's the problem. "God is working in my life" as I type this says my wife cuz someone's going to replace our upstairs toilet which has been driving us crazy, for free - yay!
God works through toilets too.

Wow, what is it about Winwood? been at it for over 60 years and nver dove into dui and needles and bad marriages, scandles etc, and has always had a great voice and pumped out SUPERIOR music that whole time!! WOW
