i hope the Lord takes him home soon so his suffering can be over, finally.
this article (link, above) is pretty descriptive over what he is going through physically - honestly, folks - how much, detail-wise, is necessary for us to "get it?" why must every news story top the previous one with what is really too much information?
am i alone in thinking this is an oversaturation of information?
my Lord, let him be. let his staff be. i am sure that as soon as he is called up to be with Jesus, the media will be the first to know. he has tens of thousands of people gathered to pray for him in St. Peter's square, millions praying for him all over the world, and Lord knows how many are praying for him in heaven. we can all help usher him in, no?
and what a homecoming it shall be!! but i can wait to hear about it, and i don't need to know just how much the poor man is struggling. sometimes, we are given just too much information and the dignity that goes hand-in-hand with his suffering will be missed.
he is a noble, saintly man who will be sadly missed; however, i think he has earned the right to sleep and leave this earth in peace.
