I have, this very evening, discovered the article I recently wrote for Spero News just came out - and just in time for you to reconsider your ideas about summer tanning...
The timing of this is amazing in light of what has happened within my own family. I would not only encourage you to read it for personal reasons, but with skin cancer and melanoma, especially, education is the only way to save what could possibly be your life. I would also urge you to use sunblock with an spf of 15 or higher (and the added ingredient Parsol, as pointed out by Ben's dermatologist) and not visit tanning salons, regardless of *needing* a base. It simply is not worth it.
