st. francis of assisi

driving to my friend brenda's, we passed by a ginormous (only word appropriate) statue of st. francis in front of a private home.

in front of a cathedral, we could see it.

monastery? you bet.

rancher? uhhhh. slightly out of place and very noticeable.

i am thinking the bird resting on fran's jead was happy he was there, though...
