be still

i cannot wait until i can just be still. there is so much for me to do, so much to be done, so little time to do it in, so i think i may be done blogging (aside from a poem here and there) until the day or so after Christmas...

just wanted to take a minute and wish you all blessings for a wonderful holiday; family & friends, you are to me.

the best is yet to be.

Moonless darkness stands between.
Past, the Past, no more be seen!
But the Bethlehem-star may lead me
To the sight of Him Who freed me
From the self that I have been.
Make me pure, Lord: Thou art holy;
Make me meek, Lord: Thou wert lowly;
Now beginning, and alway:
Now begin, on Christmas day.

~~Gerard Manley Hopkins
