stem cell research

i am writing my last paper for my English Comp class and it has to be on stem cell research - we have to present both sides of the issue for embryonic and adult stem cell testing and by the end of the paper, come out on which side we are "on."

i already know at the outset which side i am "on," but i am asking for help from you, my readership, to assist me in this project which should i desired to start yesterday butsince i am upright today...we've had three weeks' notice and i have some pretty good links, but would love a little help from my friends.

couple of quick questions:
  • if you are familiar with what stem cell research is or have done a paper of this type, please provide links to notable sources (i have a ton of information from the National Institute of Health, which was approved by my professor, so along those lines...)
  • if you know of anyone who is a proponent of same because of health reasons, i.e., parkinson's disease, why this is important research to be conducted
  • why you would favor adult stem cell research vs. embryonic
  • why you would favor embryonic vs. adult
  • reasons why you feel strongly, one way or another

this is for a grade, people!! links are necessary, i have to cite three (3) separate sources, and it is due tuesday. one of the guys in my class said "i can't find anything that is against it on the internet..." i said "type in the word *catholic* in the google search first, i'll bet it'll sing like a slot machine :)" (i meant that in a positive way, remember, i am a Catholic gal...)

thanks in advance.
