the flu?

i believe i have the flu.

i'd take a pic of myself and upload it for proof, but suffice it to say i will not be in front of the camera any time soon. in fact, i won't be in front of the monitor for much longer, either, even though the internet has been down most of the day and i am desirous of catching up on my favorites everywhere.

i had to leave the house for about 20 minutes to make a deposit and pick up bagels for work. the deposit part was rather lengthy as yours truly had a counting error (bank's favor, as per the norm) and the teller in his genuine kindness felt it necessary to recount it several times. i rang the call bell and politely asked for my receipt back, said i believed him, whatever it took as i was fading quickly and the nice gentleman in the car behind me started SCREAMING AT ME to GO INSIDE THE NEXT TIME!!! i almost left him a note saying i was ill and that was why i chose the drive-through but thought better of it.

thought better of flipping him the #1 sign as my family calls it.

thought better of leaving my car and breathing on him right through his window.

decided to simply drive off to get my bagels...God's grace in motion.

i am just about spent typing this, so if you would be so kind as to think a warm thought for me (not too warm though as i already have a fever), i'd be most appreciative.
