And so I say to you...

you are PETER, also known as PETEY to said adoptive family, and on this day and forever more, ye shall be hissed at by the well-known photogenic and heretofore docile kitty named Lily, and the matriarch Rosie shall become thy mother and shall break bread with you in a loving, non-hissing manner to the surprise and delight of the humans, and thou shalt never be aloud outside of these walls, lest ye are visiting the vet or having thyself *fixed* as it were (is this a sin, fixing a critter? i am digressing from my original intro...) and thou shalt be loved and adored and cared for by the human family that has henceforth become yours.

this shall also confirm that thy name, which has been at one time sam, woody, norm, cliffie, (j/k), pumpkin, merton (which thy human mother adored but the family let out the big sigh at) and perhaps ziggy, shall nevermore be changed. thou art the great Petey.

just for fun on the off days and when you are holy, thou shalt be called Petra. on the exceptionally holy days, thou shalt be called St. Peter.

so be it.

petey close up
