what this means is i am enrolled on thursday nights in assessment skills in addiction counseling. seems i counsel enough (and certainly know a LOT about addictions myself) i may as well get schooled on it in the academic sense.
i am stoked. my husband said "no withdrawing." i said i wasn't going into detox, "just my first addictions class." he said "withdrawing, not withdrawals."
oh.
did i mention i am excited? i feel a happy dance coming on.

Great news! It is a great step to take, to enroll in a class. Dance, dance, dance. It looks like a social work class? My daughter, my older child, is applying to social work graduate schools right now. I suppose this is something like she'll study...(she's a Psych major-- no social work background.) Anyway, congrats for being a mighty warrior woman and inspiring us all!
