i went early to St. Joe's so i could pray the liturgy of the hours. something very consoling about wrapping yourself in a blanket of extra prayer before you embark on a journey with 14 teenagers to the most eye-opening experience they will have in their young lives.
please, if you think of us - say an extra prayer, too. thank you.

although phyllis tickle's book sounds lovely, too - the book i used is the standard one used by Catholics and has been used for centuries.
