i know, i know - i've tried this twice already.
and withdrawn.
through much introspection and consideration (and prayer) i am trying once again. it may take me years to complete even the basic associate's degree, but i go in tomorrow to meet with my advisor and at least register for my english composition class - i just hung up with her and explained after withdrawing twice last year i was hesitant to try again; however, after withdrawing from my english class, i was simply despondent.
i am excited and i am not afraid to be excited. i've prayed about this, this is my passion (writing and reading) and what better way to enrich my life and further my education than studying something i am actually interested in?
now the d.r.e. last night heard of my not being voted in parish council and has started pressuring me to teach the 8th grade again next year; i don't feel as though i am being called to do that so i am not going to succumb to his pressures.
then i can't help but think i am choosing something to do that is secular in nature vs. something to further the kingdom - gentle feedback requested :)
