as many of you know, our (meaning you and me) friends crystal and fish live very VERY close to new orleans which is now under a mandatory evacuation. please join with me in saying prayers, lighting a candle (or two) that they find warm shelter, their family is safe, and when they return they find things as close to how they left them as possible.
actually, adding a prayer for anyone in that area who is in the path of this category 5 hurricane wouldn't be such a bad idea, either.
until then, i am glued to the weather channel and pray that all are well.
