new meme for new Liturgical Year

i've been tagged by julie d. with this new meme in honor of the coming Liturgical Year. i, too, am honored to be tagged and will be happy to add my three tag-ees at the end.

here's the meme. in honor of the Blessed Trinity, we:

1. Write three things that we're grateful to God for in this past liturgical year.
* that our doors are still open
* i have made some amazing new friendships through this medium
* my son has come through his many crises a healthier, happier individual by far

2. Write three ways in which we hope to improve our relationship with God in this coming liturgical year.
* continue to attend daily Mass
* do more for the poor
* i am also adding Lectio divina (sacred reading that is also meditation) using the Bible (my dad had given me a book on the subject just before he passed away and i "wasn't ready for it." i think i am now...)

3. Pass this on to three other bloggers.
* crystal and fish (i know that's two, but they are really *one* since they be married)
* angelmeg and
* mark at You duped me Lord (just to see if he's paying attention...)
