i believe by your prayers (and the prayers of others not located in cyberspace) were quite effective as our landlord pulled through in a major way yesterday - had contractors, construction crews, plumbers - on the job early on and we are officially reopened for business.only one day down instead of several.
*huge sigh of relief*
what is more remarkable is i believe the prayers sustained my husband who tends to take everything personally that happens regarding the restaurant - and you thought i was sensitive? he sees everything as "a sign from God that we should [permanently] close..." that these are the answers he gets to his prayers. on the contrary, every time i checked in with him, his spirits were high, he was overseeing and cleaning, and in a generally good mood. that was really wherein the miracle lay.
