insight into our personalities - align with our spiritualities or realities?

I have seen these personality tests but have never taken one. In the comments of my Ignatius thread, Janet suggested I take one of these tests and see if it aligns with a certain spirituality. I think I may explore the book she suggested as well to read further into the findings…

I was "all in."

I found one online (link included within) and this is what I discovered:

Your Type is
ISFJ
Introverted Sensing Feeling Judging
Strength of the preferences %
67 25 62 44

You are:
distinctively expressed introvert

moderately expressed sensing personality

distinctively expressed feeling personality

moderately expressed judging personality

so what does all of this mean? In one description given after the test results, apparently I am a Protector/Guardian like Mother Teresa and Jimmy Stewart. In another description, it stated:

Like most Is, ISFJs have a few, close friends. [true, that] They are extremely loyal to these [again, I marvel at its accuracy!], and are ready to provide emotional and practical support at a moment's notice. [what, are they in my house with listening devices?!?] (However, like most Fs they hate confrontation [uhhh......hate it, but am not afraid of it......] if you get into a fight, don't expect them to jump in after you [*cough*bs*cough*]. You can count on them, however, to run and get the nearest authority figure. [i. should. say. NOT!])

(emphasis added in certain areas.)

Okay, so I would rather be compared to Mother Teresa than the person fleeing from the fight to get help -- but for the most part, it was pretty accurate.

These online tests are fun to take once in a while, but do you take them with any expectation of having them be spot on to your situation/personality/lot in life? Or do you take them out of curiosity (like I did) and not really own up to anything other than the positive remarks (again, as I did, above)?

What say you?
