they look pretty hysterical, don't they? calm down, fellas!i am mentioning da boyz because they won their second "Battle of the Bands" in this area last night - at the home arena, their high school, in front of their peers. whoa.
to my shy son who is their rockin' drummer, being in this band is one of the coolest things to happen to him. after seeing their reaction to winning last night's competition, his parents could not agree more :)
they have won a time slot at the after prom next week, recording time at a local studio, but most importantly to them, air time at a local radio station WJSE Sunday evening where they will be performing live in a radio show called "Local Commotion," which spotlights area bands that are little known. i believe you will have the ability to listen live (streaming audio), so....Sunday evening, June 4, 2006, 7:30 p.m. EST, my boy and his band, A Case of Hysteria, will be on the radio.
keep in mind: 16 year-olds, downsized drumset, mostly acoustic, but cool, nonetheless :)
