life is good

i am not the most spontaneous person, unless i plan to be as such. however, it usually takes weeks of planning said day o' spontaneity.

we actually had a *real* one yesterday - my hub and i were off all day, went to Mass, ran to sam's, went to breakfast, had my car fixed, went to see the Omen (nothing can compare to the first one, sorry...i was so not scared), went to buy tunes and movies (of which i must highly recommend Elizabethtown with orlando blooom and kirsten dunst -- what a movie - i loved it...great soundtrack, acting was good, really recommend -- jeff, i liked it almost as much as love, actually! really!!) we later went out for wings and beer and i had my car washed.

just like what real people do when they are away from their jobs and their computers. we lived. and it was good.

(don't misunderstand that statement. i have a hard time finding balance and i am starting to get there, part of it has to do with not being balanced about my activities and spending entirely too much time here...)

i just made reservations for july 7th to go Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum New York for part of molly's 13th birthday present (i say *part* because her Godfather is throwing her a pool party at his house) and i am going to the tattoo convention in atlantic city with ben (!!)

busy, busy...but life is good :)
