it is with profound and utter sadness that i blog about the death of my cat daisy, who was hit by a car today in front of our house. two of my neighbors were kind enough to lift her out of the street and place her in a snug bed with soft blankets until i arrived home from mass to take her to the emergency vet.
it is a sad day for all, but especially the person who decided to leave our beloved pet in the street and keep going.
have mercy.
