i was reading the "letters to the editor" in our local paper this morning wherein a writer needed to voice her opinion about "Inherit the Wind" being the play of choice put on by the local high school. the writer (who i now believe to be a student at the high school or grade school level) found it offensive because the teachers at "my school tell us about the Scopes monkey trial, but their facts on Christianity are totally wrong," and further states her opinion about religion being kept out of schools as being unfair.
"They put down Christianity and make the thoughts of evolution sound right. Why don't they attack Buddhists or Catholics?"
::blink, blink::
when - when when when - will people realize that Catholics are, in fact -- indeed, even -- Christians? we follow Christ, really, we do!!
