I proposed to have a piece run in an on-line e-zine called The Porpoise Diving Life. The editors felt it wasn't quite what they were looking for (the month of June's theme was "Faith in a Dress") so they placed it in a blog. I thought it was decent because (a) it was an honest (and a little painful) chronicle of my life, and (b) since it was a bit difficult to pen and it meant something to me, I forwarded it to Catholic Exchange, to see if they would be interested in running it.

They were.
