as crazed and harried as i was this morning, i thought i'd post a picture i took with my cell phone while driving 50 mph to work - held it under the balloons that filled my car. the occasion for the balloons? five years ago today, we opened our doors and started serving folks who were hungry, thirsty, or simply needed a shoulder to lean on as they had their cup of coffee at the counter. with 2 dozen balloons crowding my interior, i could not see behind me in the car - it made me smile. there is beauty in little things that contain helium.
