i am off to work at the hospital - 7 a to 7 p - and while it has my family totally beside themselves, i figured if i have to work, what better place is there to be than a childbirth center on mother's day?

if you are in the area of the restaurant, we are giving moms their annual *early girl* tomato plants, even if you are not a mom. we figured every woman knows someone who is, and thereby is qualified to receive.

if you are in the area of the childbirth center and are having contractions, i will be happy to assist you through labor and welcome your little one into the world :)

this is a cool day, in my opinion, to honor those moms who barely get recognized otherwise - the ones who have little or nothing to their names...the ones who opted to have their child instead of making the decision to terminate their pregnancy...the ones who go through their days, barely able to hang onto anything save for the love of their children. the ones who may go unnoticed, always. my work at the center today is my prayer for you.
