Is there anyone out here in bloggety-ville that can teach a sister how to budget money?

I would appreciate any and all input as to how to be frugal, as well. Directions to other sites that could be helpful and/or useful also appreciated. I want to be ready when the money comes in - I always said I wanted to be on a budget but never had enough money in reserve to do so.

Now's my chance: I don't wish to pass through this period of my life unchanged; to do so would be to throw away a blessing.
