I am reading one now that was recommended by my dear friend, Bobbie, called “When the Heart Waits – Spiritual Direction for Life’s Sacred Questions” by Sue Monk Kid. It is resonating with me on so many levels, none the least of which is patiently waiting with God instead of for God. I pray it is reaching me deep and taking root; I pray the results will be evident in the wake of my newest (albeit on-going) trial.
What say you? Do you have a special book/set of books, speaker, cd, cd series that really hits your “God Spot?” What would your recommend for someone who is seeking a spirituality that they cannot seem to find?
