scars are tattoos with better stories

2 rods, 21 screws, and 8 hours in the operating room and she is doing wonderfully.

we survived. we are home. thank you for your prayers, they were sustaining. continued prayers, however, still coveted as we are on the road to recovery and it is difficult to transition from hospital to home

i am posting a pic because she went through hell and back this week. i told her that "scars are tattoos with better stories."

she agreed and is quite proud of it.

(as is her mama - she is an amazing young lady...)
